    Inspired by " African Woman the Original Guardian Angel" by Ishakamusa Barashango "Original Angel” highlights the black woman as the ultimate source of life. The black woman was the first person to read, create, and build civilization. Created with oil pastels, the phoenix symbolizes the rebirth and transformation of the Original Black Woman and her community. Destiny wants to educate others and uplift Black American women by reminding them of these historical facts.
