Kissed by the Sun took a detour this July and ended up in Charlotte as a part of the 7eventh Foundation's Working While Black: Empowered Wealth event. What is the Working While Black Event? Take a look here from their Instagram:

Special thanks to Ricky Lee III (@rl3.___ ) of the Carolina Panthers for providing essential supplies for all educators in attendance. 📚✏️
The 7eventh Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit based in North Carolina that is founded upon the seven pillars of :
Unity
Impact
Wellness
Philanthropy
Empowerment
Enlightenment
Financial Literacy
This is in full alignment with the goals of Black Artist Forward, and we were proud to be a part of this event and previously their Something in the Jungle school supply drive. Kissed by the Sun was in the building showcased in front of an amazing audience of forward-thinking black people. In addition, two pieces were used as a backdrop on their stage so they were live-streamed on YouTube to their audience.
This included art by Reddick Mack, known as Concourse107 online. What was initially an opportunity to be in the lobby so that guests could view the art while they mingle was now on display front and center during the event. It was a fantastic Opportunity and you can view the recap video here on YouTube:
We encourage you to check out the video and learn more about the 7eventh Foundation and its programs. On to the next one!
